Operations Manager (Traffic Control)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Traffic Control) to lead the daily execution of transportation operations within our fast-paced 3PL environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient load planning, driver dispatch, carrier coordination, service performance, and customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation and traffic operations for assigned accounts.
• Manage load planning, dispatch, routing, and shipment execution to meet customer service expectations.
• Monitor on-time pickup and delivery performance and resolve service disruptions quickly.
• Lead, coach, and develop dispatchers, traffic coordinators, and transportation staff.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, warehouse operations, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
• Analyze transportation metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
