    The Clamp Operator position on the 2nd shift is integral to the seamless movement of materials within our University Park, IL, facility.     Key Responsibilities

    • 1. Safely and efficiently operate clamp attachment forklifts to handle, load, and unload goods within the warehouse and production facility.
    • 2. Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections on forklift equipment to ensure operational functionality and compliance with safety standards.
    • 3. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for all team members.
    • 4. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track and manage inventory movements, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
    • 5. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and manage material flows in alignment with operational priorities and customer requirements.

    Pay and Benefits

    Compensation

    $21 per hour

    Requirements

    • 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a clamp attachment forklift within a warehouse, logistics, or production setting.
    • 2. Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment at heights up to 30 feet where applicable.
    • 3. Current forklift/powered industrial truck certification is required.

    1. Proficient in operating clamp forklift attachments and other powered industrial vehicles.
    2. Strong attention to detail with a heightened awareness of workplace safety protocols.
