    Overview

    The 3rd Shift Clamp Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and working within a fast-paced, technology-driven logistics operation at UNIS, the role ensures that materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to support the seamless execution of supply chain activities. This position not only requires technical proficiency in operating clamp attachment forklifts but also demands a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.     Key Responsibilities

    • 1. Safely operate a clamp attachment forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials across the warehouse and production areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
    • 2. Conduct thorough pre-shift equipment inspections and proactively report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management team promptly.
    • 3. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area that meets health, safety, and environmental standards.
    • 4. Use warehouse management system (WMS) technology and RF scanners to track material movements, ensure inventory accuracy, and follow procedural workflows.
    • 5. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational targets, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute to a positive, results-driven work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    Compensation

    $22 per hour

    Requirements

    • 1. At least 2 years of professional experience in operating a clamp attachment forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
    • 2. Valid forklift/powered industrial truck certification with hands-on experience ensuring equipment safety and maintaining operational standards.
    • 3. Physical capability to safely lift and handle loads of up to 50 lbs. without assistance and operate at heights of up to 30 feet using proper equipment.
